Black Lion
Black Lion is based on the poetry of Mawlana Jalaladdin Rumi (1207-1273). Rumi was one of the best-known mystics of the Middle Ages and the leading respresentative of Sufism, Islamic mysticism.

The various elements of Black Lion - sung medieval poetry, real-time sound design and aerial acrobatics - do not attempt to illustrate Rumi´s poems but to express the mood created by a poem or just a few words.
At times the various elements accompany one another, at others they go their own way.
